Little Miss Muffet sat on a tuffet,
Eating her curds and whey.
There came a big spider,
Who sat down beside her.
And frightened Miss Muffet away!
I just wanted to draw a very dark gothic lolita in black and white with spiders! And then I remembered the nursery rhyme and decided to name my drawing after it. Even though this little miss muffet does not seem to be frightened by spiders...
I HATE spiders... I had to look for references to draw the 2 spiders... And each time I found a new picture I was like "ewwww! how disgusting!" I would have reacted just like the miss muffet from the rhyme if spiders like those would have ever tried to get close to me!

Wow! This is really really well done! I absolutly love it! Gothic Lolita style is so interesting! I'd wear it if I could! XP
Great job with the colouring (Yay for Tria especially! I love those things! ). And the character is awesome! Reminds me of Malice Mizer!

Thank you very much for your comment and for the favorite!
I really enjoy drawing gothic lolita clothes. I think I would not wear such clothes but they're nice to design.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
