Tonto el que no entienda
cuenta una leyenda
que una hembra gitana
conjuró a la luna hasta el amanecer
llorando pedía
al llegar el día
desposar un calé
tendrás a tu hombre piel morena
desde el cielo habló la luna llena
pero a cambio quiero
el hijo primero
que le engendres a él
que quien su hijo inmola
para no estar sola
poco le iba a querer
Luna quieres ser madre
y no encuentras querer
me has engañao fijo

Here is the drawing I did for the winner of the dolling contest : Kat.
She requested me to draw her character : Lün la Blanche wearing a gown, using white and blue as dominant colors. And to use mostly watercolors. Finally it came out like this.
While drawing this I kept listening to the song featured above : "Hijo de la Luna" (there are 2 versions of this song : the Spanish one and the French one I like them both actually!) That's a sad song. I thought that this song would fit the drawing well, even though the character I drew is a girl while the song tells the story of a little boy who's the Moon's son. But since Lün is Moon priestress, I think you can also call her "Hija de la Luna" after all... Ok I stop my babbling here!

-I do not own this character, Lün belongs to Kat

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
