Evanescence ( in "Fallen")



This time I drew an angel... This is almost a monochromatic drawing : I experienced new coloring techniques with my TRIA markers and played with the blender (I think I should buy more shades of grey...). As far as I am concerned, I prefer to color my drawings in black... But that was an angel, so I thought I had to use another color than black! I worked hard on the hair cut, but I think I added to much details around the head while there's almost no details around the feet... >_<; But just after I had finish to draw the details of the head, I thought it would have been too much if I had added more details on the dress or anywhere else... The background is pretty simple too...

I saw this in the recently submitted and I knew it was yours. =P Lovely. ^_^ The colors might be subtle but the details with the clothing and the staff more than make up for it. :highfive:
